Welcome to Lon Lodges and Lon Farm

Lon Lodges is situated on Lon Farm, which is a typical Radnorshire farm that rears sheep and cattle. The 270 acres has been farmed by the Pugh family for over 75 years. Stephen and Robert Pugh are the current land and stock managers and take care of the day-to-day farm work.

There are many areas of the farm that are accessible for walks, details can be found on the Wildlife Walks Link. We are fortunate to have the sheltered lowland meadows and the more exposed upland fields to suit our native farming breeds. The River Dulas flows through the farmland from its nearby source, enriching the area’s landscape and wildlife.

Stephen and Kerena established Lon Lodges as a way of diversifying the Farm and after a busy few years and with help from family, friends and a skilled workforce, Ash and Sycamore Lodges welcomed their first guests on 7th July 2007.

Since opening, we are proud to have been awarded many accolades including being finalists for two years in the Visit Wales Tourism Awards for the best Self Catering Accommodation, a Gold award in the Green Business Tourism Scheme, along with recognition as a World Host Provider of excellent hospitality and customer service.

In 2018 we started the building of our newest venture! Stellar Safari Lodge, a luxury glamping accommodation. We wanted to create and design somewhere magical and unique, for guests to completely immerse themselves in the experience.

Our first guests arrived in the September of 2018, and we have completely fallen in love with our new Lodge and what it offers our guests. It brings many happy memories of love and celebration with many marriage proposals, honeymoons, anniversaries, and family holidays full of fun and wonder!
