Sleeping…

Up to 6 guests comfortably in a double four poster bedroom, a bunk bedroom and a cosy cabin style double bed. A travel cot is available on request (please bring own cot bedding). The beds are made up for you with fresh linen sheets, a warm duvet and a fleece blanket with cushions and a much loved hot water bottle.

Showering…

A private en suite wash room that adjoins the tent at the rear, next to the bedrooms, has all the comforts of an electric shower, a flushing toilet and a wash stand with hand basin. Bath towels are provided and you will find a hand towel and shower mat in the wash room.

Also on offer is an outdoor cold water shower with a large rainwater shower head, great to cool down!

Good to know – Complimentary hand soap, shampoo and body wash will be provided, all are paraben free and kind to the environment.

Warm and Cosy…

The amazing wood burning stove, in the central living area, will keep you warm and snug whatever the weather. Welsh woollen blankets will give you that extra comfort. A basket of logs and kindling will be supplied, further supplies can be purchased.

Good to know – Please bring warm clothes and lots of layers to make sure you are as warm as toast!

Cooking…

Cook in the wood burning stove oven and cook on the stove top. There is a warming drawer for your plates and for keeping your food nice and hot. A four ring gas hob is also part of the kitchen unit for all your cooking requirements. The kettle can be used on either of these facilities. There is a small solar powered fridge for immediate supplies. Crockery, cutlery, glasses, utensils, pots, pans and serving dishes are all stocked for you. Even the kitchen sink with running hot water is included. Your own fire pit has a BBQ rack for outdoor cooking and marshmallow forks for that ultimate treat!

Good to know – Pre-order a BBQ or breakfast hamper from Bob the butcher, or an organic fine foods hamper from the Wild Swan Delicatessen. For the chocoholics, pre-order a gift box of handmade Belgium chocolates, fudges and sweets.

Dining…

Enjoy meals around the dining table with comfortable chairs to seat 6 persons (a high-chair is available on request). Candlelit dinners using our safe LED candles and over the table lighting will provide the ultimate dining experience and memories to cherish. Or alfresco dining on the decked veranda to make the most of the Welsh fresh air. Evenings can also be spent sitting around your camp fire pit. A bag of logs will be supplied, further supplies can be purchased.

Good to know – A Welcome hamper of welsh cakes, Welsh tea, coffee, drinking chocolate sugar, milk and marshmallows will be a great way to start your holiday.

Lounging…

Relax and unwind on the comfy 3 seater sofa in front of the wood burning stove, a trunk coffee table contains childhood games and some new fun ones to enjoy with family and friends. Also provided are books, wildlife and nature journals, local history, maps, local information and bug hunting kits ready for the explorers to start exploring!

Good to know – We hope to encourage the traditional values of sitting, chatting, playing games where no technology is involved!

Lighting…

Solar panels provide electricity for low level lighting in the shower and toilet room as well as in the main living room area and the two bedrooms. Lanterns lit with battery LED candles and fairy lights provide ambient lighting giving the luxury glamping experience. Outdoor veranda and areas around the fire pit are low level lit with solar lights.

Good to know – wind up LED torches are provided in the bedrooms.

Powering…

Solar power will supply a couple of plug sockets for essential use of charging your mobile phone. Please do not bring any other electrical appliances. A wall mounted hair-dryer is supplied in the shower room. There is a small fridge, but please only bring a small amount of fridge items initially and re-stock during your stay.

Good to know – We encourage limited use of the power supply to make sure the power supply remains constant during your stay.

Hot tub…

Veranda deck with outdoor seating and wood fired hot tub overlooks the green Welsh countryside and the neighbouring flock of sheep. A fenced area surrounding your Lodge will keep children safe and keep the sheep from visiting you! Watch the sunset over the hillside while bathing in the hot tub, or experience the traditional sauna and outdoor cold shower. Revitalise your body and mind. Re-live your day and start planning the next day’s adventure.

Good to know – the veranda flows out from the Lodge with a small step. The elevated deck has steps down that will lead to the fire pit and pizza oven area.

Parking…

Private entrance and parking for 2 vehicles (sorry no camper vans and caravans visiting). There is a short walk along a gravelled footpath to approach your Lodge. On arriving at the Lodge, access will be from a decked ramp leading to an open air porch, where you will find hanging space for coats and boot storage. This is located at the rear of your accommodation.

Good to know – torches are a useful item to pack especially if you arrive late at night.

Booking…

To secure your booking, we require a deposit of £100, the remaining balance will be due 6 weeks prior to arrival. If your booking is less than 6 weeks then the full payment would be required on placing the reservation. Payment method would be by bank transfer, details will be given when placing a booking. All Bookings – A refundable security deposit of £100 will be required before your stay.

We are sorry we do not accept bookings for the following groups: Adult groups where all are under the age of 30 years.
