Lon Lodges Terms & Conditions

Please read all our terms and conditions carefully. When you book your holiday with us you are

entering a contract which is binding. We have clearly set out the booking conditions with a list of

responsibilities and commitments from us and yourself. We always recommend you take out travel

insurance when you book a holiday.

Booking Terms

DEPOSIT REQUIRED

A deposit of £100 per week will be required for bookings made more than 4 weeks before arrival.

A confirmation email will be sent as soon as the deposit has been received.

FULL PAYMENT

The balance of the booking is payable in full 4 weeks prior to the arrival date. For short notice

bookings, less than 4 weeks, full payment is required to confirm the booking.

PAYMENT METHOD

Payment preferred is by bank transfer or can be in the form of a cheque drawn on a UK bank, a British postal order, traveller cheques. Prices do not include any charges incurred (foreign exchange or transfer fees) from receiving payment.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES

Customer check-in will be from 4 pm or with owner arrangement.

Customer check-out will be by 10 am.

LODGE SHORTCOMINGS

Please notify any shortcomings with your Lodge immediately so that we can resolve any problem you may have.

BOOKING CAPACITY

It is a condition of your booking that the total number in your party shall not exceed the capacity of the Lodge as advertised.

NO MINOR BOOKINGS

We cannot accept bookings from anyone under 18-years of age.

NO PETS

Our Lodges are not pet friendly and therefore we cannot accept pets in any booking.

GUEST BEHAVIOUR

We would like all our guests to enjoy their holiday with us. We therefore reserve the right to refuse a booking if we think a person will compromise the enjoyment of other guests or the wellbeing of staff. If you are unruly or antisocial whilst staying at our Lodges, you will be required to leave immediately without a refund. This type of behaviour includes, but is not limited to, any discrimination against, or harassment of anyone in relation to their sex, race, colour, religion, religious or philosophical belief, nationality, age, ethnic origin, relationship status, disability, sexual orientation, or gender re-assignment. The company reserves the right to terminate any booking at any time, without compensation or refund. We cannot accept any liability in relation to any shortcomings or claim if you fail to notify the owner of any complaint during holiday.

BREAKAGES

We require the Lodges are left undamaged, clean & tidy. Breakages may incur a charge at our discretion to cover replacement costs. We do have replacement items in store, so please let us know rather than buying an item.

FARM TRAILS

Guests have access to farmland that will be advised on your arrival. The Lodges are located

on a working farm and therefore certain fields may have no access at certain times of the year.

LIABILITY

Neither we or our employees or agents accept liability for any personal injury loss or damage which may be sustained by your party or their guest or their property during the period they or any of them are staying or visiting at Lon Lodges except where it arises from the negligence or wilful default of us, our employees, or agents.

NOISE RESTRICTIONS

We ask guests to be respectful of guests staying in other two lodges by adhering to our no noise policy. We do not permit disruptive noise after 10pm, including but not limited to playing loud music. Whilst we appreciate everyone is on holiday and we would like you to have the best time, we ask that guests abide by the no noise policy to ensure the peaceful enjoyment by all guests. Therefore, please note we have a zero-tolerance policy after 10pm. If you are affected by noise during your stay, please call 07929539874.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING

Ash Lodge and Sycamore Lodge have a private EV charging point in each lodge car park. Guests can get access with prior arrangement with the owner. The charging point is NOT App based. Each Lodge has a ROLEC WallPod Type 2, 7.2kw unit, offering Mode 3 universal charging.  There will be a Charge Fee to the guest per EV charge. Our Fair Use policy assesses the battery capacity to calculate the not-for-profit fee. Please ask for rates at the time of booking. We do not in any circumstances allow for 3 pin plug “granny charging” through windows from the indoor sockets in the Lodge at any time during the stay.

HOT TUB TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Ash Lodge and Sycamore Lodge

Before using the Spa Hot Tub, please familiarise yourself with the Terms of Use. Failure to use the Spa Hot Tub properly may cause a temporary switch off for maintenance and safety reasons.

DAILY MAINTENANCE – 9am  to 10am and 4pm to 6pm

Guest Safety – Rules and Guidelines

This is an important health and safety legal requirement in a commercial environment.

  • Please keep noise levels to a minimum when using the tub out of respect to your neighbouring guests. No disruptive noise after 10pm
  • The lead guest is responsible for ensuring that all guests are aware of and strictly adhere to the guidelines.
  • Please note that a member of maintenance staff will visit the tub daily to perform water balance, clean and quality check. Water balance will be adjusted if necessary, using chlorine chemicals and results recorded. This is a necessary procedure to ensure the water remains continuously safe.
  • Any damages caused through not following these
  • guidelines will be charged for in full.
  • The maximum number using the hot tub at any one time is 5 persons.
  • Children under 4 years old are not allowed to use the hot tub.
  • NEVER leave children unattended. Adults please do not use the hot tub while on you own.
  • NO Diving, Jumping or Submerged bodies or Swallowing of water.
  • Persons using medication, problems with heart disease, diabetes, high/low blood pressure or serious illness or pregnant ladies should not enter the spa without prior consultation from their doctor.
  • ALWAYS shower and remove make-up before entering the hot tub.
  • Fake tan, Make-up, Hair products, Massage Oils, Perfumes will contaminate the water. In the event of this happening, the tub will be drained and refilled, putting it out of action for at least 12 hours.
  • If you have hair dye that washes out, please use shower cap provided. Please keep long hair tied up for safety reasons.
  • Alcohol should NOT be consumed before or while soaking in the tub.
  • Food and drink and the use of glass should not be near the tub.
  • It is advised not to use the hot tub after a big meal.
  • It is recommended not to use tub for more than 15 minutes at a time.
  • Do not enter hot tub wearing everyday clothes and check your swimwear is safe to wear in chlorinated water. Remove all jewellery.
  • The water temperature is set at a recommended safe level of 38.5 degrees. Please DO NOT increase this level for safety measures.
  • Please DO NOT sit or walk on the hot tub cover.
  • Keep protective cover lid ON when spa is not in use and use the clips to secure the lid.   
  • Do not allow any electrical items in the vicinity of the spa.
  • Enter hot tub slowly, be aware of the slippery deck surface around hot tub.

Stellar Safari Lodge WOOD FIRED HOT TUB

  • As the water in a wood fired hot tub is not chlorinated, the water has to be emptied and the tub re filled after every use. This is a necessary procedure to ensure the water remains continuously safe.
  • Any damages caused to the spa hot tub through not following these guidelines will be charged for in full.
  • The maximum number using the hot tub at any one time is 5 persons.
  • Children under 4 years old are not allowed to use the hot tub.
  • NEVER leave children unattended. Adults please do not use the hot tub while on you own.
